You may not remember Ella who attended lessons with your teachers in Harpenden 2010-2014 in Southdown I think. She started with Beth I think and latterly did ballet and a jazz class with Fraser (I think?) a visiting teacher? Ellen enjoyed her classes but didn’t show much flair (although she never wanted to miss), and the same was true when we moved to Brighton in 2014.
Then something clicked and she became obsessed with dance, ballet in particular! She now attends vocational classes in London at the weekends and on Sunday qualified for the RAD finals in London in May. She’s 12, studying Grade 5 and about to take her Inter F exam and has been en pointe for a year.
I just thought you’d enjoy hearing this - obviously your lovely teachers managed to make her early classes a happy place and I wanted to say a big thank you.
